Jib Spec Guide

Below is a guide to the jibs we can build. A bigger jib will give you a greater lens height and longer reach however it may not be as versatile as a smaller one. Tell us what shot you want to get and we'll work out how to do it.

Safety is very important and we're happy to give advice on safe jib working practices to help you with production planning. For your peace of mind our jib kits are annually tested to the LOLER (Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998) and visually inspected every time it is built. We also have £5 million of Public Liability insurance.

Also bear in mind the footprint needed to operate the jib. In the panel above look at the 'working radius' ie space to swing the jib for a guide. These footprints enable a 360 degree operation of the jib however if you only need 180 degrees of movement then the working area is reduced accordingly.

We're not going to get any more technical on you here, just let us know what you want to achieve and we'll work out the details. Contact us.
